IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR

PARTNERS IN PERPETUITY
Names: Clare and Ed Kelm

Gann Society members since: 2011

Place of residence: San Juan Island

Favorite island place: Mt. Young on San Juan Island near English Camp. "With its almost 360-degree view (from two vantage points) you can see Canada, Haro Strait, Garrison Bay, Mitchell Bay, Wescott Bay, and all the land in between, right down to where our house is at the Roche Harbor Airport."

Quote: “We feel that most people want to leave something worthwhile behind in this world when they are gone. For us it is to help the San Juan Preservation Trust protect these beautiful islands, so that they may remain as the jewels they are today. These islands are what hold our community together, and we want future generations to be able to be part of the community that will continue to share in the love of nature.”

The Gann Society is a group of individuals who have notified us that they have provided for the San Juan Preservation Trust in their estate plans. Protect these islands for generations to come with a bequest to SJPT. Read more
