Unfortunately we won’t be able to have the event we had last year on the Monday before Thanksgiving, but we are taking the opportunity to use the Gratefull platform to meet some immediate needs in the community at this time. On Monday, November 23rd from 11:30am until 1:30pm we will have a “Drive By Gratefull” at Burr Park where we will collect shelf stable items for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank to distribute among their 35 agencies here in Whitfield County. Items most needed are single serve and family size mac and cheese, single serve proteins, canned goods and pasta with easy open lids, peanut butter, cereals, and snack bars for weekend sack packs provided to our local school children. We will have volunteers to receive donations so you won’t even have to get out of your car. Come help us give back to show how “Gratefull” we are for our community—especially this year!
Now taking applications for the Emerging Leaders Institute class of 2021!
The Emerging Leaders Institute was designed for adults as a leadership skills training program so that the participant may gain new skills and knowledge about leadership. The goal of the Emerging Leaders Institute is to provide each participant with the foundation of basic leadership skills and knowledge.
The Dalton Innovation Accelerator is hiring!
The first Executive Director will shape the destiny of the Dalton Innovation Accelerator (DIA) and Dalton’s startup scene. A combination of initiative, charisma, and business experience will be necessary as the face and the architect of Dalton’s entrepreneurial hub. The ED will routinely report to the DIA’s board, but day to day scheduling will be generally dictated by the ED. This freedom necessitates that the individual be self-motivated above all other desired characteristics.
