Save the Date for Ice Skating & Shopping Local on November 30th

Our Shop Small Weekend Event is just around the corner. The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce and The Bardstown Main Street Program have teamed up again for "Shopping Local." on November 30th. This year, we want as many businesses as possible to take part, so we've created two ways for you to join in. You’re welcome to participate in any or all options!


Participation Options:


Option 1:

Get involved for FREE! List your store hours and any special deals below. Your business will be promoted on social media and included in our shopping bags. Please send information to chamber@bardstownchamber.com.


Option 2:

Donate an item or gift card valued at $25 to be included in the Shop Small bags or used as part of the "passport" grand prize.

Breakfast on the Dinner Train

On October 2nd, the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce spent the morning on the legendary My Old Kentucky Dinner Train - RJ Corman sponsored by Abound Credit Union. It was a morning of networking, good conversations, games, and of course delicious food. Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the morning with us!

Young Professional Network

The BNCC Young Professionals Network had an incredible morning at Baptist Health Bardstown Medical Plaza on October 17th.


Highlights included:

• An inspiring talk by Dr. Hughes on embracing your authentic self and managing stress

• A hands-only CPR demonstration to equip us with life-saving skills

• An exclusive tour of the state-of-the-art Baptist Health Medical Plaza facility

On October 30th, our Young Leaders had an incredible Agricultural Day with the Nelson County Extension! A huge shout-out to Robbie Smith for planning such an enriching experience, and to Adam Wheatley for hosting and feeding us a delicious meal. 


Through hands-on learning and discussions, our Young Leaders gained valuable insight into the agricultural industry and the impact it has on our community.
