| University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics will hold their third Orthopaedic Academic Seminar & Education Series (OASES) on Saturday, November 8th, 8 - 11 am (MT). The session include presentations on: Spine Anatomy, Conditions Requiring Emergent Treatment, Back Pain in the Athlete, and more spine-related topics! | APPROPRIATE ANTIBIOTIC USAGE | On Wednesday, November 12th, Noon - 1 pm (MT), Emily Spivak, MD, MHA, Co-Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs at University of Utah Health and the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, will present on antimicrobial stewardship in clinical settings. The presentation on Appropriate Antibiotic Usage will be held in-person at Mountain West Medical Center (Tooele, Utah) as well as virtually on Zoom. CME credit is offered. | |

Participants learn about the latest in clinical trends from leading experts in the field of obstetrics to increase treatment efficacy in pregnancy care. TRAUMA NURSING CORE COURSE (TNCC)
U of U Health will host several Trauma Nursing Core courses in 2026. There are spots available for the January 8th - 9th, 2026 training, which will feature an interactive lecture and hands-on skills stations. A fee is associated with this course.
