Rockport Film Festival

The Festival kicks off with the Red Carpet Party on October 31, 2024 followed by the film screening throughout the day Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Rockport Conference Center (ROCC) located on the Rockport Center for the Arts campus at 106 S. Rockport Songwriter Festival

November 7 - 10, 2024


The 3rd Annual Rockport songwriter Festival will be held in Guy Clark's hometown on November 7 - 10, 2024. The intimate, two-day festival will be held at

 Charlotte Plummer's in Fulton, Texas

Thursday night start with a seated fundraiser dinner/auction for the RSA followed by a performance by Larry Joe Taylor and friends (separate ticket).

Friday night features Robert Earl Keen in a special a special solo performance with Kelly Wills opening. Saturday day features The Resentments, Jeff Plakenhorn / Michael O'Connor plus Kimmie Rhodes and Happyland. Saturday night is sponsored by the Guy Clark Family Trust with Terry Allen and Friends including Bukka Allen, Richard Bowden and Mike Hedwick. Sunday day features Libby Koch, the all women songwriter group Passck, Shake Russell / Michael Hearne and Gary Nicholson. The festival winds up Sunday night with our regular closers Shawn Camp and Verlon Thompson.

Rockport-Fulton Market Days – Every 3rd Friday-Sunday of the month 9 am – 4 pm. Live music is played throughout the weekend. Austin Street Art Walk

Every second Saturday of each month, from 10 am – 7pm. Austin Street Art Walk is presented by Rockport Center for the Arts, in partnership with local galleries, restaurants, and businesses located along Austin St. (over 30 participating businesses) Art Walk is a free, alfresco, walkable experience featuring an ever-changing mix of participants representing various art mediums such as paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, textiles, as well as live music, artist demonstrations, food and more. For more information follow us at

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

Open daily from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. The Visitor Center is open daily 9:00 am to 4:00 pm until April 14th, then closed Mon-Tues starting April 15th. Come hike a trail, fish off the pier or from your kayak, or drive the 16-mile auto tour. Goose Island State Park

Open 7 days a week from 8AM-10PM. Park Headquarters is staffed 7 days a week from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Tent and RV camping available; reservations recommended. There is a 1,620 ft. fishing pier, Bayfront campsites, boat ramp, birding areas, hiking trail, and picnic area. While at Goose Island, be sure to visit one of the most famous live oaks in the world, the "Big Tree," estimated to be centuries old - In 1969 it was named the State Champion Coast Live Oak. November 9, 2024, 8:30 am - 1:00pm, 2nd Annual Rockport Casting Competition. Come show off your casting skills in spinning, casting or fly categories. Each category will have a distance competition and an obstacle course. No Hooks! There will be for casting a weight only, up to 1 ounce max, and for casting lures with no hooks. Memorial Park

Check out the Disc golf course intertwining among the oak trees. Memorial Park is located at 1601 FM 2165 (Pearl St.) in Rockport. The park includes a 6000 sq. ft. modular skate park. Consisting of more than 100 acres, the Park includes 1.65 miles of Hike and Bike trails and a 3/4-mile nature trail with interpretive signs, and rest benches. Soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, off-leash dog parks, playscapes and fitness stations, birding sites, and picnic facilities serve a wide variety of interests throughout the year.
