Rockport Songwriter Festival

November 3-5, 2023


The 2nd Annual Rockport Songwriter Festival

will be held in Guy Clark's hometown on November 3-5, 2023.

The intimate, two-day festival will be held at Charlotte Plummer's in Fulton, Texas


Rockport Arbor Day Kickoff Party

November 3, 2023


The Arbor Day Kickoff party is November 3rd at Magnolia Park. (906 N Live Oak Street) from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. This event will have sponsored picnic style food, music and history under the historic Live Oaks. The City of Rockport Mayor, County Judge, Town of Fulton Mayor and Navigation District will all be planting a tree to signify our unity in preserving our Live Oaks trees on the Live Oak Peninsula.


Rockport Arbor Day in the District

November 11, 2023


1st Annual Rockport Arbor Day in the District on November 11th from 10am - 6pm which will be combined with the Cultural Arts District Second Saturday and Austin Street Art Walk. The City of Rockport Tree Committee/ City of Rockport & Aransas First Land Trust will close off Main Street in between Rowdy Maui and The Red Fence Patio/Alisa Baker Art. Come out and enjoy this event with a kids corner with tree themed art, and a dog dye contest.

Rockport Film Festival

November 9 - 12, 2023



The Festival kicks off with a Red Carpet Party on Thursday (November 9th) followed by the film screening throughout the day Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Rockport Conference Center (ROCC) located on the Rockport Center for the Arts campus at 106 S. Austin Street.

Austin Street Art Walk, Every second Saturday of each month Austin Street Walk is a collective effort of the Rockport Center for the Arts and Moon Over Water Gallery in partnership with Rockport galleries, restaurants, and businesses located along Austin Street in the Rockport Cultural Arts District. The Rockport Cultural Arts District has restored and repurposed the historic Rockport San Antonio and Aransas Pass Railroad Depot to a unique Railroad Museum. Rockport Cultural Arts District has a new program called Passport to Aransas County's Rich and Vibrant History. Your adventure begins with 4 exciting venues to explore.

Visit The Fulton Mansion, Texas Maritime Museum, Rockport Railroad Depot, and the History Center for Aransas County. Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

Open daily from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. The Visitor Center is open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Come hike a trail, fish off the pier or from your kayak, or drive the 16-mile auto tour. Memorial Park

November 11, 2023, 11:00am - Veterans Day Service at Veterans Memorial Park.

Check out the Disc golf course intertwining among the oak trees. Memorial Park is located at 1601 FM 2165 (Pearl St.) in Rockport. The park includes a 6000 sq. ft. modular skate park. Consisting of more than 100 acres, the Park includes 1.65 miles of Hike and Bike trails and a 3/4-mile nature trail with interpretive signs, and rest benches. Soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, off-leash dog parks, playscapes and fitness stations, birding sites, and picnic facilities serve a wide variety of interests throughout the year.
