Ramp up 2021 with the Fundraising Report Card
It’s hard to imagine that we’re halfway through the fourth quarter of 2020. More than likely, your board and staff leaders are beginning to focus on 2021 — looking beyond the COVID-19 crisis and either building on this year’s successes or mitigating and recovering from recent challenges.

Because the environment around your organization is quickly changing, you need to examine your fundraising and board engagement. Now is the time to take a hard look at your fundraising successes and trends as you develop plans for the year ahead.

The Fundraising Report Card

You will be amazed at what your staff and board can learn from mapping donations over the past 5 to 10 years, analyzing key aspects of that history, and developing a plan of action in response. If you are currently raising at least $100,000 a year from individual donors and have been tracking donations in a system, we can take your anonymized donor information and turn it into a treasure trove of useful information.

Once your 2020 giving records are updated in January 2021, this service would be a perfect investment to launch 2021. Our consulting fee is only $2,500 and includes a working session with your development staff and executive staff leadership followed by a presentation and discussion with your organization’s fund development committee or full board.
Contact me if you are looking for a way to interrupt your current routines and provide space for some new insights about your fund development efforts.

We’re looking forward to helping you realize a productive 2021. Contact me today to reserve your slot for January or February 2021.

We want to recognize board leaders
For most board members, board leadership roles come with a commitment and investment of time and resources to support a cause they care about. However, for the individual who steps up to serve as board president or chair, the role comes with the assumption of overall responsibility for the nonprofit and guiding the organization’s path forward.

As we continue to share news of board leaders who have taken the helm, we encourage you to recognize and thank these individual for tackling the role, because as a community member you recognize the value of his or her investment to help keep the sector strong.

If you want to announce your organization’s new board leader, please send name, position and a head shot HERE.

We are open to other ways we can support and recognize board leaders. Send us your thoughts or tell us a story about a board leader who has made a difference in your organization. Share your ideas with Bryan Orander, president.
