November @ the MACC
Aloha!
We kick off the holiday season with Thanksgiving tomorrow, so it's the perfect time to say MAHALO, and give thanks to each and every one of you for the support you’ve given to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center this year.

As I think back over the many individual contributions and group efforts this year - all have made such a difference to the quality of life on Maui. Your support to the MACC is support of the arts and education - and this does make a difference in our community! Our founding chairman, Pundy Yokouchi, put it this way:

The arts are education. They lift up the human spirit, and help us become better people.

Thank you to our loyal members and generous donors... to our business sponsors and partners … to the government agencies and private foundations that help support us... to our staff and volunteers.

Everything that happens @ the MACC would not be possible without ALL OF YOU as a part of the whole ... all involved in making hopes, dreams, and inspiration come to reality.

Feeling thankful,
Art Vento, President & CEO
E mahalo kākou, i ka mea loa‘a

Thank you for coming to "THE MACC PRESENTS" EVENTS!
Every year we strive to bring the best of the world to Maui, and present the best of the islands for the world. This includes performing arts and visual arts: dance, jazz, classical music, theater, Hawaiian arts, rock & pop & indie concerts, EDM, comedy, films, seminars & discussions, exhibitions and classes - a complete spectrum of arts events designed to INSPIRE and DELIGHT!
Thank you, MACC members and sponsors, for helping us to create and sustain our ARTISTS IN THE COMMUNITY program!
Throughout the year, the MACC takes the artists off the stage and into the community! This program includes arts programs for social service agencies, community gathering centers, schools, libraries – all around Maui County.

Moses Goods performed DUKE in Hana and Lanai. Your support through ticket sales and attendance helps the show go on for us, as well as for other organizations in our community who use the MACC as their own springboard to success!

Thank you to our BOARD OF DIRECTORS
and KAPA CIRCLE donors
They help keep us on target with the guidance necessary for our organizational health, committing their personal time, financial support – and so much more.

We can even count on them for entertainment! That's board member Honey Bun Haynes waving a cheery hello to all in the photo below, with Board Chairman Jimmy Haynes in back, and Maui Calls committee person Judy Bisgard on the right. Usually all three wear their “Committee” hats, but they all had their “strummin’” hats on for this year’s ‘Ukulele Festival!
