November Habitat Happenings

As the weather starts to turn chilly, the leaves start to fall,

and Thanksgiving approaches, we're excited to bring

you the November edition of our newsletter.

This month we'll be sharing the latest news from our

Norton build and featuring one of our Family Services Chairs,

who is also a dedicated board member.

We are also excited to share something very special with you...

We are in the early stages but stay tuned on when community volunteer build days will be held, we'd love to have you join us! If you are interested in being the first to hear, please email our Administrative Specialist, Isabel, at [email protected]

Meet our Team!

Deb Gagnon

Board Member Spotlight

Deb has been employed in the financial industry since 1985 holding various roles from Retail Teller, Teller Supervisor to Senior Management within Transfer Agencies for investment companies.  She is currently Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Norton branch of Bluestone Bank. Being employed with a community bank allows her to have direct contact with the community and be involved in volunteerism. Over the past 11 years, Deb has been highly involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Toys for Tots and a local food pantry.

Deb became involved with Old Colony Habitat for Humanity in 2015 as a member of the Family Services Committee (where she is the Committee Chair) and is anxious to explore other areas of the organization.

She lives in Pawtucket, RI with her husband Scott and their 3 fur-children (1 dog, 2 cats). She has two grown sons and a 2-year-old grandson. Scott has 2 grown daughters & granddaughters.

Deb says she is "really proud to be part of Old Colony Habitat for Humanity. This amazing organization is backed by a great bunch of dedicated volunteers who are all committed to the same goal: creating safe, comfortable and affordable houses. Together, we construct houses, but it's the families who turn them into homes."

Thank You!
