Welcome to November!

What a beautiful fall in Michigan and now the little bit of snow we got last night has us wanting to go north for skiing and snowmobiling fun!

As each day passes we continue to learn more and we wanted to thank you for your suggestions for products and classes. Keep them coming as we want to provide you with the best possible quilting/crafting experience and become your go to shop for supplies!

Each month we have so much to share with you so we are going to try to send out our newsletter more often. Grab your beverage of choice as this is a bit of a long one!

Ladies Weekend - Sleep at Home Retreat

November 14 - 16, 2019 9am - 9pm

Join us for three full days of sewing in The Sewing Room and enjoy the comforts of your own bed each night!

Perfect time to work on UFOs, gifts, and Christmas projects. You will also receive 15% off your purchases during your stay - just in case you forgot something or find some fabric you just can't live without. We will have some other little surprises throughout the weekend as well.

Water, continental breakfast and light snacks provided. All other meals on own, but a small refrigerator is available for your use as well as several local eating establishments.

We will be open special hours on Saturday, November 30th to celebrate Small Business Saturday.

Be sure to add Lady Jane's to your shopping list as we will have amazing specials all day long - in store only!

We aren't going to give away all our deals just yet, but we can tell you that we won't be having our $2 fat quarter Friday this month because it will be part of Small Business Saturday!

All specials offered this day cannot be combined with any other coupons and is not valid on classes, clubs or Young Living products.

Sewing Machine Give Away!

You may recall a video tour of our shop that was posted to our Facebook page back in August. That was part of a challenge that Jaftex Corp. president Scott Fortunoff presented retailers with.

Well he graciously donated an EverSewn Maker 200 sewing machine to each shop that participated!

We are so grateful for this donation that we want to make sure it goes to someone who truly needs it. More information on this will be posted on Facebook as well as sent in a separate email, but we wanted to get you thinking about someone you may know that is in need of one so you can nominate them.

What's a Whatnots Club?

Begins January 2020

Simple Whatnots Club 9 includes eight fun-to-stitch patchwork mini quilts from Kim Diehl's new line Esther's Heirloom Shirtings. This is the 9th year for the Whatnots Club, hence the 9 in the name.

We will be hosting monthly meetings for this club the 2nd Saturday of each month starting in January at 9:30am. At the meeting, you will receive your kit and have the chance to see that months mini quilt finished.

A few fun things for you if you join the club - receive a first look at new fabric and patterns before they are put on display in the shop . Also, if you come to the meeting with the previous meetings quilt completed you will receive 15% off your entire purchase that day (excludes Whatnots Kits and Young Living products).

Upcoming Classes

All class participants receive 15% off supplies if not included in class fee.

Kids Sewing! $25

November 7th 6pm - 8pm

November 23rd 3pm - 5pm

This is the perfect beginner class for children whom are interested in learning a new skill - sewing!

Each child will make either a pillow case or table runner during the class. Perfect project for them to learn some basics as well as make a little something for themselves or to gift!

Please plan on attending with your child and bringing a sewing machine if possible. There are a few at the shop available for them to use if you do not have one.

All fabric supplies included in class fee and will be chosen in class.
