Use this interactive map to help students explore how geography and climate affect the production of agricultural crops. The map uses USDA statistics to help your students answer questions such as, "Which state(s) produce the most potatoes?" or, "Where does Utah rank nationally in turkey production?"
On the map, click on the red box (on the left-hand side of the page) that says "Maps" and select "Agricultural" from the data sets. This allows you to view the production of various agricultural products, including turkeys and potatoes.
