It’s one of the busiest times of the year but before you know it, Newport Wellness Week, happening January 18 – 25, 2020, will be at our doorstep. Designed to educate and inspire everyone from those ready to make positive lifestyle changes to regular wellness enthusiasts looking to expand their horizons, Wellness Week promotes local fitness and well-being offerings throughout the destination including specials, incentives and added-value deals at area businesses. The Wellness Marketplace on Sunday, January 19 from 10am to 3pm is the official event kick-off. Held at the Newport Marriott, local health and wellness practitioners, nutritional coaches, fitness studio owners and trainers, yogis and wellness-related business owners are invited to exhibit. Newport Visitor Center Update
The Visitor Center is now selling Newport Jazz Festival Flex tickets. Please note winter hours are in effect: 9am to 4pm daily. Also, there are currently limited on-site advertising opportunities including a few rare vacancies of exterior poster panels (facing America’s Cup Avenue and the Newport Marriott). Newport Burger Bender
The Newport Burger Bender returns for its third rendition this February 14-23, 2020. The simple burger contest, which recognizes the diverse culinary creativity throughout our destination, challenges local restaurants to compete for the lauded “Best Burger” title, burger bragging rights and the coveted Newport Burger Bender trophy. Burger Bender is part of the Newport Winter Festival.
