INSIDE RIDGEVILLE

Welcome, Daniel Bregman!

Please join us in welcoming Daniel Bregman to Ridgeville!

Our new Superintendent of Recreation Services brings two decades of parks and recreation experience, including leadership roles at Foss, Glenview and Morton Grove park districts. His work has spanned youth and adult sports, summer camps and community events, along with specialized accessibility work to better serve people with disabilities.

Daniel also brings an established commitment to Evanston. He has served on the City’s Parks and Recreation Board since March 2024 and represents the board on the Evanston Arts Council.

Helping and serving others is a personal passion for Daniel, and we’re excited to welcome that spirit to the programs and experiences we share with our neighbors.

One more thing to know about our newest teammate: his career includes a stint on the Chicago Cubs’ grounds crew at Wrigley Field!

Welcome to Ridgeville, Daniel. We’re glad you’re here.

It Was a DĂa to Remember

Perfect weather, an incredible turnout and music from Grupo SB made our third annual Día de los Muertos Celebration one to remember! Thank you to our partners—LENS, Evanston Latinos and Padres Empoderados—for helping bring so much energy and fun to Ridgeville Park. And thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the music, admire the ofrenda and celebrate together. Take a look at a few favorite moments below!
