K-State, GO Topeka collaborate with K-State 105 partners to open Business Concierge Office in downtown Topeka

Through the K-State 105 initiative, Kansas State University and GO Topeka have opened a new resource hub for Shawnee County entrepreneurs: the Topeka/Shawnee County Business Concierge Office in downtown Topeka. The collaboration also involves NetWork KansasOmni Circle GroupWashburn University School of Business and the Washburn Small Business Development Center.


The Business Concierge Office, 715 S. Kansas Ave., officially opened during a Nov. 15 ribbon cutting and will serve as a comprehensive resource hub for Topeka and Shawnee County business owners. It is designed to support entrepreneurs at every stage of their business journeys, offering support to both budding startups and established enterprises.

A K-State 105 story: K-State Technology Development Institute helps Vortex Coatings develop new applicator

Kansas State University's Technology Development Institute recently provided design and prototyping assistance to Vortex Coatings to help bring a new applicator to the market just in time to display at the world's largest automotive tradeshow. The project was completed in support of the K-State 105 initiative.


Vortex Coatings is a Salina-based company that produces high-performance coatings for a wide range of industrial, agricultural and automotive industry applications.
