Adult Fall Reading Challenge

Genealogy Club

Monday, Nov. 13th- 6:00pm

Have you wanted to start searching for your ancestors but didn't know where to start? The Genealogy group meets at the library once a month and new members are always welcome! The group is made up of family historians interested in sharing resources and tips to accurately find their ancestors while helping others with their search.

Walking Club

Fridays, Nov. 3rd & 17th- 10:00am-11:00am


It is a beautiful time of year to walk the South County Bike Path! The group will meet at the entrance next to the Narragansett Community Center.

Meditation Class

These classes will teach Inner Light Meditation. There are no restrictions on age, health status, fitness or flexibility. All are welcome. Registration is required.

Save the Turtles

Tuesday, Nov. 7th- 6:00pm


Introducing RI's freshwater turtles! Meet Ambassador Bobo, the red-eared slider, and learn how turtles defend themselves and how you can help too by designing a reusable bag and challenging yourself in our storm water runoff game. Ages 7-18.

What to Expect in College

Wednesday, Nov. 8th- 6:30pm


Students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend a Q&A about college. We will be led by Ms. Mulholland, Director of Reading and Recruitment at URI, and she will answer any questions about what to expect freshman year and what life on campus is like. This is also a great time to ask questions about the application process! Parents are welcome to attend.

Safe Sitter Course: Homeschool Edition

Thursday, Nov. 16th- 9:15am-2:00pm



Students will learn basic safety skills, time management, and behavior tips when babysitting. Pizza will be provided. This course is provided by Lifespan, come get Safe Sitter certified! Ages 11-14. Registration required & begins Nov. 1st.
