Parklet at Edison and Campbell Access Rd
Keeping it clean and keeping the bushes trimmed back is important!
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, 8:00 am, in the parklet at the end of Edison at Campbell Avenue, we clean the parklet. Reminders are put out on Google groups. Garbage bags and tools supplied.

If you do pick up trash during the week, or just prefer to pick it up at a time of your choosing, please contact Joanne Osuna at cricket16@cox.net and your time will count. We report our hours to Tucson Clean and Beautiful as part of the Adopt-a-Park Program.

Linear Trail, Hampton to Santa Rita, Updates

Boulders- Seems there have been car tire tracks in the Linear Park. The solution is to protect the park by surrounding it with boulders. Great, more sit-up-ons! Thank you Paul Lopez Park Supervisor!

HISTORY SIGNS - Parks and Rec met with JP reps Nov 2. to mark the locations for the six history signs. After blue staking, the concrete bases will be set and the signs will appear. Thank you Parks & Rec guys Arnold Vizcaino and Andres Quijada!

If it is a CASA BONITA property, they have a program for tenants which includes education, periodic dumpsters, and a roving truck to pick up discards. The office number is 520-398-5738. JP residents can call about a concern regarding any Casa Bonita property and their staff will take care of the problem.

The "Fly Friendly Zone" is an approach from the south to the Banner pad. Please call the security at Banner when you experience an overhead flight. Don't worry about identifying the chopper-security will know if it lands on their tower.

Grant Road Project Phases 5/6 - We're working on it!
A Six Neighborhood Coalition begins Discussions with DTM
The Grant Road Coalition of neighborhoods have raised concerns about the safety of cars, bikes and pedestrians on and near the Mountain Avenue intersection with Grant Road. DTM has contracted with a company in Phoenix, Burges and Niple, to conduct an RSA - Road Safety Audit. In November we will be presented with the results of that study.
