Mobility Week is a statewide celebration of making smart, efficient, and safe transportation choices. During Mobility Week, cities, counties and transportation partner agencies host events to promote transportation choices, highlight transportation achievements, and roll out new initiatives or policies. We’re Certified!

The North Florida Transportation Planning Organization has once again received federal quadrennial certification with praise for noteworthy practices. In presenting to the TPO Board Oct.8, Teresa Parker with the Federal Highway Administration, said, “The North Florida TPO is commended for the leadership and coordination throughout the region. “

The final report identified noteworthy practices in public participation including:

  • Smart North Florida’s unique partnerships with social service agencies and Tech and Beer events

  • The TPO’s collection and use of cutting-edge data to both inform and analyze its decisions through the publicinput.com online engagement platform

  • The TPO’s collaborative, cooperative and comprehensive planning and relationship with JTA for the Bay Street Innovation Corridor
