Chamber Award Notifications |
|
The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce is seeking award nominations. The awards will be announced at the Annual Awards Dinner in February 2023. The awards will be presented in recognition of outstanding leadership and accomplishments, those that have earned special recognition in their chosen profession in the past year, active involvement in the community through service organizations, and commitment to the betterment of Bardstown and Nelson County.
This is an annual award based on accomplishments within the 2022 calendar year. The award cannot be received by the same person for consecutive years.
A selection committee of the Chamber will review the applications and determine the recipients.
Nominations must be received by the Chamber office no later than November 30, 2022.

Our Board of Directors Election is open and all employees of chamber member businesses are allowed to vote. Board of Directors are voted by members to serve a 3 year term and are instrumental in the operations and decisions of the chamber. Voting ends on November 16th!

On November 9, NPR of America located in Bardstown, KY hosted an Army Pays signing ceremony with local officials, army recruiters and ROTC personnel in attendance. Thank you to all of those who attended, we are excited to join ranks with the U.S. Army to offer job opportunities to young men and women in central Kentucky. We would like to extend a special thank you to all Veterans. |

The Takigawa Family participated in the Turkey Bowl and raised over $1000 to donate to Nelson County BackPack Program, Feeding of America (donation link below). This program provides food to hungry students over the weekend and during school breaks. $120 will supply one child with a bag of food each weekend for an entire school year.
Last year, Nelson County BackPack Program served 314 students in Bardstown City, Nelson County, and Head Start Schools.

Santa is coming to My Old Kentucky Home! Join us for a full brunch buffet in the Ballroom and a Christmas Décor tour through the Mansion’s first floor. Stop by our Bearded Brothers photo shoot to get family & individual photos with Santa that will be printed onsite! End the event with a hot chocolate beverage from Deez Beanz and story time with Mrs. Clause in our Carriage House.
