Prompts of Gratitude
May you be uplifted by messages of thankfulness

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough. — Oprah Winfrey

Piglet noticed that even though he had a very small heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude. — A.A. Milne

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11

We should not measure success by bank accounts filled with money, but rather by moments filled with joy and gratitude. Pursuing your passion vigorously and relentlessly will bring you those moments. — Dennis Houchin

The attitude of gratitude is the highest way of living, and is the biggest truth, the highest truth. You cannot live with applied consciousness until you understand that you have to be grateful for what you have. If you are grateful for what you have, then Mother Nature will give you more. — Yogi Bhajan

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity… It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. — Melody Beattie

Studio Events in November

November 9th, 7:00-8:30pm

Come shed your fear of the unknown, experience the divine support and comfort of the silky yoga hammocks as your body lets go of gravity and stretches deeply with guest teacher, Katie Sutton.

We’ll start with a short guided meditation followed by a deep stretch practice aided by the aerial hammocks, and then finish class with a 30 minute sound journey savasana.

If you have ever wanted to try Aerial Yoga, but were not sure where to start, this is the class for you.

During Savasana you will rest and relax in the aerial hammock while Katie Sutton takes you on a relaxing journey with sounds from a host of instruments, including crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, native flute, drums, and many more!

Gongs Bells and Bowls uses the powerful vibrations of large gongs interspersed with the gentle sounds of crystal and Himalayan bowls to form a sound immersion as varied as the individuals who participate. Sometimes gentle and sometimes intense, but always having the potential to create a shift in perception.
The session is 90 minutes allowing 15 minutes for the introduction and 15 minutes for winding down after the hour of sound immersion. Questions and individuals sharing their experiences are always welcomed.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Advance ticket sales close at midnight on the day of the event..

Gong, Bells & Bowls
with Joey Dukes

Experience begins in January 2020
2nd Saturdays, 5:30-7:00pm

For thousands of years gongs have been used as instruments of transformation and what is at the heart of yoga if not transformation.

This event is experiential, not educational in nature, but there is a brief introduction to help each individual make choices about how to best utilize this time. There is not a right or wrong way to do it and people who have never had this type of experience will begin at the same place as someone with a long history of meditation practice. The gongs are powerful and can create a single pointed focus of the mind that allows a non-judgmental observation of thoughts and feelings in the present moment. Then, without the need for a past or a future the mind can rest.

Joey Dukes began developing his concepts for Gongs Bells and Bowls while employed as a social worker at the VAMC in Atlanta GA. When working with Veterans diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Substance Use Disorder he found that the combination of gongs and bowls had a calming effect for many of the clients, revealing the power of the mind to heal itself. After retiring he began offering the event in the community. The components utilized continue to evolve and now include hand pans and a variety of tuned bells.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

“If the only prayer you said in your whole life was 'thank you', that would suffice."
