For the past five years on the NFJG TOUR we have dodged many serious storms and adverse weather conditions which would have caused us to cancel or postpone events, but this year has been the exception. Already this season we have cancelled three events due to storms, rain or unplayable course conditions. Hopefully the pattern will change and we'll come upon some good golf weather. With that said, I do want to thank all the boys and girls, parents and grandparents, along with my staff for enduring the elements. As a player, it really should be a requirement that you play in all weather conditions and you should want to, to make yourself better. For the spectators, well adverse weather conditions kind of makes you hangout in the pro-shop a little longer. Great stuff though and we all appreciate you hanging out in the rain with us.
ALRIGHTY THEN, coming up is some pretty important events and we hope you sign up and sign up early. Take a look at the tournament schedule on the NFJG TOUR website and get your plan together early because before you know it school will be out and Summer will be upon us. Sign up for the events early and know you can always transfer to another event if you can't make it for some reason. During the end of the Spring Tournament Series we start to get 80-110 players per event, so the point I'm trying to make is don't wait until Tuesday, deadline night at 7:55 pm to try and sign up. Most likely you're gong to the waitlist. If you're late a $25.00 late fee is strictly enforced.
OK check out the NEWSLETTER there's plenty to catch up on.
Thanks and see you on the links!
