There's a lot happening at South—from opportunities to make and share music to invitations to enjoy meals, ideas of ways to stand up for justice and plans to create art together.

That's why we've started a South Church Google Group. It allows each of us to speak to all of us.

Whether you attend services regularly or are unable to be there every week, South's Google Group will help you stay informed and connected. It creates a space to share encouragement, celebrate milestones and support one another.

Please join us on Sunday, November 15, to celebrate Nick Herring's life and remember our generous, kind and creative friend.

Nick was the son of our long-time members Linda and Hubert Herring, brother to Emily, and friend to many. His South Church involvements included being a member of the Kitchen Garden, and serving on the steering committee of Roots & Wings and as a curator of The Donald Gallery. On November 15, The Donald Gallery will show works by Nick.

His friends have set up the Nick Herring Memorial fund to create a lasting tribute to Nick on South's campus. Learn more/donate here.

Know that the money you give makes a difference; all amounts, large and small, are welcome. For questions about giving, please contact Stewardship Chair Kay McCoy. She will be available during Coffee Hour on November 15 and 22 to help people submit pledges for next year.
