40 Years of "
The Art of Living"
Because of you,  Hospice Savannah has been here for four decades helping everyone in our community live more fully through caregiving, chronic illness, end-of-life, and bereavement. In that time, more than 15 for-profit hospices have entered the regional landscape. They rarely take indigent clients, cannot offer inpatient care, and provide only the basic required core services.

By comparison, above is a very beloved patient who was cared for in our in-patient Hospice House , and who really benefited from his weekly stretching exercises and healing massage from our licensed  massage therapist Jordyn .

Thanks to you we have fulfilled our mission to provide the best care our community offers and, thanks to you, we will continue for 40 more in our celebration of The Art of Livng!   (Read the list of last month's generous donors here ).
27th Annual Tree of Light Gathering

On December 2 we will gather to share stories, music, reflection and candlelight to honor those we remember. Miranda Briggs, a young veteran whose husband is one of the 22 veterans who die by suicide every day, will be our guest speaker.

Miranda has received help from our Full Circle Grief & Loss counselors and all donations support the free bereavement help they offer to anyone in our community. Find out more about Tree of Light and make a donation at this link, and/or make a memorial page in honor of YOUR loved one at this link .  We hope you will join us on December 2.

And please join The Giving Network and Savannah Master Calendar for a networking and fundraising event for the Edel Caregiver Insitute on Tuesday, November 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Demere Center. There will be appetizers from The Ordinary Pub, cocktails from Congress Street Up, music and door prizes! $10 suggested donation. More information here.
