It's November, the month of Thanksgiving and a time to reflect on everything we are thankful for.
We at ADA are so thankful for our dance family for supporting us during these challenging times!  Your support, positive recommendations, and encouragement are keeping us moving forward. Our goal during these times is to provide a positive, supportive and happy environment for our dancers.  We want them to leave their worries at the door and concentrate on becoming better while having fun through the art of dance!

THANK YOU to everyone!!  Happy November!

WEEEEEE DANCE- For Ages 2-3 & a partner!!

Our WEE Dance is a fun and creative class for Mommy (or Daddy/caregiver) and a tot. It is designed to help aid in the wonderful development of skills appropriate for a 2 year old. For this reason our class uses a parent or caregiver to help us orient the child into a classroom setting encouraging the development of fine and gross motor skills. These skills are developed through the use of music, dance, and constant support of those who love them. Along with assisting in the development of motor skills in the children we incorporate sharing, taking turns, and following directions. These aspects all lead to the development of socialization and additional necessary skills of listening and following directions to give them a great start before or while they begin pre-school.

Measurements of all dancers will be the week of November 1st-6th.  Costume fees will come out of accounts on November 16th.  If your dancer will not participating, please send a note in by November 1st so we do not measure your child, or post a charge to your account.

May 7th & 8th with a rain date
(if an outdoor show becomes necessary)
of May 15h & 16th

Closing Procedure
The studio will not necessarily close for snow/bad weather days regardless if area schools are closed. Closings will be sent
via e-mail within one hour of the scheduled class and posted on our Instagram & Facebook accounts. Since we are unable to offer make ups in other classes this year due to COVID size restrictions we will offer Zoom or a class makeup day.

Special Notes for current dancers
Hip Hop Dancers:
As a reminder shoes for Hip Hop are not to be worn outside as they drag lots of dirt into our dance rooms especially during the rainy and snowy season. Please be sure that the sneakers worn for Hip Hop are worn ONLY for class and not outside.  Attire should be comfortable clothing with sweat pants over the knee as they do floor work.  Any colors are allowed.  Think FUNKY!
Ballet Dancers:
The only top allowed to be worn is a ballet sweater.  Sweatshirts etc are not allowed in ballet class as teachers cannot see the lines necessary for proper technique.  Think FITTED.  Leg warmers and fitted dance sweater leggings are also allowed.
