CALLIDUS CLOUD U.S. OPEN NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS
What a fantastic championships!! The game of the tournament certainly went to the mixed semi-final between Redballers and Purple Cobras. The whole arena stopped to watch and the game went to Purple Cobras after a very exciting overtime. We certainly appreciated all the teams that travelled to this event and a special mention to the umpires Te Mata and Liz who travelled from NZ and England just to umpire.

Umpire Award
Even though his background is AFL umpiring, he certainly showed he's got what it takes to be a Netball umpire. Congratulations to Jeff Perrson from Nasvhille Kangaroos for taking home the Umpires Award as well as joining the ranks as a B Badge national umpire!!
Netball America Appreciation Award 2012
In recognition of continued commitment and support of Netball America.
Awarded to: Los Angeles Waves Netball Club. Netball America will celebrate their 5 year anniversary next year and in doing so we wanted to recognize the LA Waves Netball Club not only for being our first members but for supporting us over the years to get where we are today.

I know he was able to talk with a lot of you and was able to experience his first Netball match. He really did love his Netball trophy and you will be able to find it on a wall in New York City at his bar SNAP!! Thank you also to Brian for donating a special edition bottle of Chandon to the Netball America Cup winners.

The tournament wouldn't have run so smoothly without all the qualified event officials. So a big thank you. The national umpire pool is growing every year and thank you to Australian National Umpire Kerry Toohill for leading the charge over the event.
