November  2019
Greetings from Our Wonderful World! We are excited to announce some great news. OWW Media has forged a working relationship with Encore Palm Beach County. Founded just three years ago by retired investment advisor and social entrepreneur Rosemary Nixon, Encore PBC is quickly becoming the place to turn to for those 50 and over seeking employment and volunteer opportunities in our area. And in keeping with that mission, Encore PBC wants to recognize those businesses and organizations that are spearheading this effort with a "Wisdom & Experience Works for Business" Awards Breakfast 8am Friday, Nov. 22 at Hyatt Place Delray Beach. We'll be handing the emcee duties and want to encourage as many of you to make it as possible. Tickets are $25 each, and you can register at www.encorepbc.org . Come on out and support a great organization on an important mission!

Our feature story, "Cha Cha Your Way to a Healthier Brain," says it all. Dancing not only helps us to enjoy ourselves but goes a long way to keeping our body and mind sharp. Read the story, and you'll be taking Salsa lessons before you know it!

Once again, the Green Goddess has blessed us with her wisdom in "Awesome Almonds." You see, a lmonds are healthy, taste great and incredibly versatile. Yes, she's included two delicious recipes!

OWW Media & Entertainment wants to welcome Noel Martinez as the new CEO for the Palm Beach North Chamber. What an outstanding choice! Noel has displayed extraordinary leadership with several businesses and non-profit organizations over the years, and he has truly hit the ground running in his new role. We look forward to collaborating with him and working even more closely with the Chamber in the years ahead under Noel's leadership.

We also have two other PB North Chamber events that we want to recognize. The Chamber's Women in Business hosted their annual Tea & Fashion show and yes...the Green Goddess was one of the models! Congrats to Macy's and all the lovely ladies for doing a great job at this fun event.

We also want to give a shout out to AJ Brockman of The Brewhouse Gallery and The Kelsey Theatre in Lake Park. AJ has done an amazing job in kickstarting these two unique and exciting entertainment venues and has done a lot to promote the arts in up and coming downtown Lake Park.

Last, but never least, Jan Davisson has written another great Curtain Up to bring you up to date as to what's On Stage in the Palm Beaches.

Well, we've got a lot going on!

For your convenience, here's a list of what we've just added
