NEW #ReadLOCALIllinois Directory for teachers & librarians!
Denise Holmes, IC, has done a terrific job creating our new #ReadLOCALIllinis Directory. Thanks to all participating Illinois storytellers. The site will be updated annually each fall.
The image at right is available in AISLE, ANDERSON'S and IRC swag bags. It will be shared with Illinois booksellers to drive teachers and librarians from their websites to our directory to find presenters for school visits and literacy nights!

Thanks for your help!
The Swag Bag Party at the Fountaindale Public Library on October 23rd was a huge success!
Volunteers packed 500 bags of authors' and illustrators' bookmarks and postcards which will be given to Illinois teachers and librarians and AISLE on Nov. 9.
Some came from the city, Rockford and nearby suburbs. So grateful for the four hours people spent helping us!
