Budget Committee meetings are scheduled for November 27 to 30, ahead of the final approval of Budget 2018 on December 13 at a Special Council Meeting.
 
While budget deliberations are held over four days, planning for the budget has been underway for months. Public feedback received throughout the year at various community engagement opportunities help ed shape the proposed budget. A Council Workshop was held on September 25 about aligning key priorities with public feedback and the City's Strategic Plan.

Christmas in Downtown Brampton
The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Christmas Market kick off the festive season in Downtown Brampton on Friday, November 17. You won't want to miss the lighting of the 60-foot tree with over 80,000 lights or the chance to begin your holiday shopping at the Christmas Market. On Saturday, November 18, the Brampton Board of Trade Santa Claus Parade will light up Main Street with bright and cheery floats. [more...]
