November Chamber Newsletter

November 2024| Vol. V | ISSUE 11

Message from Executive Director

Who can believe we are in the 11th month of the year already? 2024 is flying by. Once again we have a robust month of programming and opportunities coming up for you.

If you have not yet joined us for a Chamber Morning Meet Up, we'd love to see you. It's a wonderful B2B opportunity, a fabulous way to get a behind the scenes/roll back the curtain chance to learn about nearby Chamber businesses/organizations and a way to let those nearby know about your services as well.

Our Chamber lunch this month will feature three local women owned/co-owned businesses and the journeys/lessons learned thus far in the world of business ownership. Hope to see you soon.

If you would like the flyer for any of the events below for sharing internally within your company, please do not hesitate to reach out to director@middleburgheightschamber.org.

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 20th - Dine Out for a Good Cause

Did you know that Chambers of Commerce are not for profit organizations that rely heavily on annual memberships and various revenue initiatives (aka fundraising) in order to succeed, survive and thrive.

The Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce also hosts and supports the community and other local non profits in several ways. In 2024, the Chamber has hosted a Middleburg Heights Food Pantry drive, distributed one $1k scholarship to a local graduating H.S. Student and via the generous support of sponsors has distributed $5K to the local school district and Polaris Career Center.

The Chamber will also be assisting Pathway Caring for Children with their annual toy drive.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, November 20th and plan on dining at/ordering from Chipotle (on Bagley Road). Treat your loved ones, friends to dinner. Order in person or online. 25% of the proceeds will be donated to the Chamber.

Email the Chamber should you like a copy of the flyer.

Pathway Caring For Children Annual Holiday Drive

Thanks to the generous support of Chamber members last year for the Annual Toy Drive, Pathway Caring for Children, a Chamber member and local foster care agency, is seeking your generosity in the form of gift card giving..

Purchase a gift card in the amount of $25 (or more) and bring it to the November 14th Chamber Lunch. See attached flyer for additional details. If you are not able to attend the November Chamber lunch, please advise Claudia and other arrangements can be made.
