November Newsletter

Dear Catherine,

As I begin to reflect on the past year and look ahead to our goals for the new one, I am filled with gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment to protecting the lands and waters we all cherish.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us at our Annual Meeting on November 9. It was a wonderful celebration of 2024's conservation milestones (and a full house) at the beautiful Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens. We were delighted to be joined by the Connecticut Land Conservation Council's Executive Director, Amy Paterson, who presented former NCLC Board President, Hiram Williams, with a prestigious Conservation Hero award.

As the year draws to a close, we are also in the midst of our Annual Membership Appeal. Thanks to a very special matching gift, every dollar you contribute by December 3 will be doubled (up to $100,000), allowing us to accomplish even more in the year ahead. Your donation will directly support not only new land acquisitions, but also stewardship, public access, partnerships, and educational programs.

I invite you to consider making a gift todayyour membership support creates a healthier, more sustainable future for the people of Northwest Connecticut.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful Thanksgiving holiday.

Warm regards,

Catherine M. Rawson
Executive Director
