"Leave The Scene Clean" Art Contest & Tote Bags

The "Leave The Scene Clean" art contest is OPEN and accepting entries through January 31st. Click here for contest rules and entry form. The new reusable tote bags are available! Top Golf "FORE" Keep Lee County Beautiful-February 20th

SAVE THE DATE! Our second annual Golfing "FORE" Keep Lee County Beautiful fundraiser presented by Beach Talk Radio is February 20th, 2025. Funds from the event will be used towards our continued waterway cleanups and plantings. Click here for details.

Event Updates

"GO GREEN" Golf Tournament

THANK YOU to all of the sponsors and players of our annual "GO GREEN" Golf Fundraiser! It was a beautiful day of golfing fun raising nearly $22K to support our efforts across Lee County. A special shout out to VIP sponsors from Nextran, UES, Waste Pro, WM, Coastal Waste & Recycling, EZ Pack, Petersen Industries, FP&L, Wastequip/Toter, Cascade Cart Solutions, and FleetGenius.

"Monofilament Madness" Marine Cleanup

Our marine cleanup was a huge success! Over 150 volunteers at four locations removed over 25K pounds of trash & debris from the waterways, beaches, and mangroves of the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve. After the cleanup, all enjoyed a lunch and after-party at Parrot Key. Thank you to the incredible hard working volunteers and to the sponsors from Tunaskin, SWFAEP, Bass Pro, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Surfing's Evolution & Preservation Foundation, Waste Pro, WM, Town of Fort Myers Beach, Lee County Solid Waste, LCEC, Southwest Waste, Salty Sam's Marina, Estero Bay Buddies, Coastal Waste & Recycling, Mound House, Sea Tow, Keep Florida Beautiful, and Keep America Beautiful.

Adoption Groups

Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc., established in 1989, is the county’s largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. This local nonprofit forms public-private partnerships and programs that engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community environments.
