November at PaliBu | Stronger Together | Moving Forward

Malibu Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce

November | Business • Community • Recovery

As the holidays approach and we enter the final stretch of 2026, there is much to reflect on, much to celebrate, and still important work ahead.

We are approaching the second anniversary of the devastating fires that changed our communities. Recovery remains a long and complicated journey, but across Malibu and Pacific Palisades, we continue to see determination, investment, new beginnings and meaningful progress. At PaliBu, our membership remains strong, our programming continues to grow, and our work is increasingly focused on delivering tangible results—from advancing recovery financing and advocating for effective policy to supporting the small businesses and commercial property owners essential to restoring our local economies.

November brings more opportunities to connect, collaborate and move that work forward. We'll convene our Business & Property Owners Zoom to discuss commercial recovery priorities, gather for our Connections Breakfast at Porta Via with Reza Akef, and return to Porta Via for our November Sunset Mixer—a chance to reconnect with neighbors, colleagues and friends as we head into the holiday season.

And there's more ahead. PaliBu is advancing business recovery research, exploring new financing and grantmaking opportunities, strengthening partnerships with lenders and public agencies, and advocating for policies that support commercial revitalization across Malibu and Pacific Palisades.

Same Coast. Stronger Together.

Welcome to Our Newest PaliBu Members!

Our Chamber is growing, and so is the network of businesses, professionals and community partners helping Malibu and Pacific Palisades move forward!
