Honoring Those Who Served

Veteran's Day is a special time of year when we pay homage to those who served in the United States Armed Forces. Tzinberg & Associates thanks all who have served and those currently serving.

Our Payroll Supervisor, Kristine Overacker, served in the Marine Corps from 2001-2005. Kristine joined the Marine Corps as a 17-year-old after graduating early from Edwardsville High School. While in the Marine Corps, Kristine fixed industrial air conditioning units attached to air traffic control and radar equipment. She deployed on multiple stateside training missions and international deployments, earning meritorious medals, commendations, and promotions. Every year around Veterans Day, Kristine volunteers with Veterans in the Classroom, which allows her to share her story with the next generation.

Charles' father volunteered for the Army in 1940. He very proudly served in the 20th Attack Squadron in Panama. He was honorably discharged five years later as a Sergeant.

Christi's grandfather and brother both served in the Marine Corps.
