FREE DECEMBER PROPAGATION WEBINARS microMEETING #5: Conifer Production at Foxborough Nursery December 3, 2020 at 4 pm EST Foxborough Nursery produces more than 500 conifer cultivars yearly. David Thompson, owner of Foxborough and IPPS Member will present on conifer production from propagation to shipping, especially those that are unusual and unique. Thompson will share in-depth lessons on how to propagate by grafting and cuttings, liner grow on stage, field planting, growing on, and harvesting and shipping. NORTH AMERICAN SUMMIT RECORDINGS COMING SOON! The October IPPS 3-day North American Summit attracted more than 900 attendees from 15 countries! The video recordings will soon be available online for members to watch anytime. Thanks to Ron Amos of Evergreen Nursery Company and Terri McEnaney of Bailey Nurseries, Inc, who provided outstanding tours of their nurseries. Eastern Region's sessions included "Ten Grower Good Ideas" by Alex Verbinnen of Verbinnen's Nursery and "Air Pruning Trays and Trees: What's it All About?" by Dr. Darby McGrath of Vineland Research. We are also grateful to Connor Hagemeyer, of North Dakota State University and Josh Kight, of University of Kentucky who presented their student research.
