Repairs around Bosco
We have been working hard and had the opportunity to make some repairs to improve the grounds.
  • The St John Bosco sign on 112th has been repaired and repainted by volunteers
  • The Ten Commandments have been cleaned and refurbished by volunteers. Currently the Ten Commandments are covered with a tarp to protect it from the elements until a sealer is applied to complete the project.
  • Trees around the main building have been cut down. This was done to stop damage occurring to the roof and animals accessing roof by means of the trees.
Stewardship
Every year at this time, we are asked to think about our stewardship and of all the gifts that God has placed in our trust. Not just how we are taking care of those gifts, but how we are sharing those gifts with our parish and our community as well.

Parish Stewardship of Treasure
(Weekly Church/Parish Giving)

  • Occurs in the Fall of each year
  • Parish renewal (Congregational)
  • Yearly pledge to SJB/IC - January to December
  • Donations processed through SJB/IC Parish Office
  • Quarterly reminders sent from the Parish
  • Tax Statement Provided by Parish
  • Provides parish ordinary income supporting the work and ministries of St. John Bosco/IC Parish.
