Hello Kathy,
Happy November!
As we head into the end of the year, be sure to continue to support our local businesses and non profits so we can all finish the year strong.
There are some great businesses right here in our own backyard who would love to earn your business. Whether you need a pie for the holiday, a turkey, or maybe some flowers for your table we have it all here. Maybe you want to eat out for Thanksgiving, you can do that too. Sometimes our local churches or food pantries need help around the holidays, reach out and see if that's something you would like to do.
We may live in a small town and valley, but there are big things happening.
We're happy to welcome a couple new members, HowWorx and Self Care Solutions to the Chamber. Be sure to check them out and learn more about these new members.
We had a great mixer at the Hitching Post 2 in October and we are looking forward to our November mixer hosted by the SYV Marriott. Mark your calendars to attend.
This month's newsletter is loaded with lots of information and events, and please check out the updated Commercial Real Estate section for the available spaces in Buellton. There are some new properties on the market, so take a look.
We will be doing a ribbon cutting for Rock 12 Distillery on November 3rd from 5-7pm. This new distillery is located at 6605 E Hwy 246 before you get to Foley Vineyard. Hope you can join us!
We look forward to the upcoming holiday season and hope you continue to get out and enjoy this beautiful time of year.
Thank you for your continued support, we appreciate your membership and friendship.

The Buellton Chamber welcomes new members throughout the year.
What does it mean to join the chamber?
Joining a chamber of commerce provides businesses with access to resources, discounts, and relationships that enable them to save money, market their products, and streamline their processes.
We have an active membership and we look forward to having you join us.
Membership for a business is $200 annually and $75 for a non-profit or individual.
If you are interested in learning more or becoming a member, please click below.

Leadership Circle
A new membership structure
| |
We have designed 5 new levels of membership that include a variety of benefits at each level. Rather than reaching out for sponsorship every time there is an event, we have developed ways for you to participate at every level. We feel this will streamline the process, save time, and provide you with the exposure you choose.
You will receive a letter with your invoice, when your membership comes due. This will list the levels of membership you can choose from. Just let us know what level fits your business. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions. We look forward to serving you in a more simplified way and hope you find a level that works for your business.

Thank you ExxonMobil for signing up for the

November
Storm Water Tip of the Month
Do you know the best way to dispose of cooking oil or grease? You should never put cooking
oil or grease down the drain. At home, you can pour used oil or grease in a sealed container
and freeze it/let it sit until hardened or mix with coffee grounds before throwing it in the trash.
Restaurants should collect cooking oil and grease in containers or barrels for proper recycling.
Cooking oil and grease containers should be placed in a secure area with lids closed when not
in use and the area should be kept clean from drips and spills. Visit your City’s Stormwater
Management webpage (Buellton or Solvang) to learn more about best management practices
at home or work..
|
Water Conservation Tip of the Month
Keep up to date on water-efficient products such as toilets, urinals, showerheads, faucets
sprinklers, irrigation controllers etc.), and rebates for your home or business. Visit the EPA’s
Water Sense website to learn about these water saving products.
