Each November, we observe Veteran's Day. November 11th at 11 a.m., to be more specific, which is 11 o'clock on the 11th day of the 11th month. You can read more about the history of Veteran's Day here.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 18.2 million veterans live in the U.S. which is over 7% of the population. Almost one-third of these veterans have a service-connected disability.
The unemployment and underemployment rate of veterans with disabilities vary across states but is on the rise in 2022, according to the Department of Labor.

Thank you to all who participated in our October Member meeting and for Land O'Lakes' and Inclusive Networking's great presentation. Land O'Lakes hosted this hybrid event. They shared their partnership with Inclusive Networking in lifting up an internship program for youth with disabilities. Together they talked about their Inclusive Internship Program and how companies can develop a unique program that will lead to hires. We look forward to hearing about their progress!
