The La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce (LGACOC) is a nonprofit member organization established to support local businesses in 1950, one hundred years after the City itself was incorporated. LGACOC relies on membership dues and fundraising activities to support its operations.

There are two (2) Board of Directors vacancies. Only 6 Board Meetings per year, 1 hour. Benefits of serving: make new connections, grow your business, learn about news before the general public, increase your personal brand, & build your support system etc. The applicant must be a Chamber member or represent a Chamber member business. The Chamber is awaiting confirmation re: presentation of public private partnership plan to La Grange Economic Development Corporation in December 2023.

Our Chair - Deokie Ramjohn was invited to attend Office of the Governor Greg Abbott briefing, which announced Texas’ 11th consecutive award of the Governor’s Cup from Site Selection and that Texas has been ranked number one in the 2023 Top State Business Climate Rankings. Texas Workforce Commission Conference

Chair - Deokie Ramjohn and Director with Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area represented our Chamber at Texas Workforce Commission 26th Annual Conference - “Many Paths, One Mission”.

This conference helped inspire dialogue and generate resourceful ideas to further the best practices already in place for business solutions, workforce, training, education, and economic development goals.
