Dear Prince of Peace Family,
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for the Halloween parade and Trunk-or-Treat! This was hands-down, our BEST ToT yet, and huge props go out to Caitlyn Cornelius and team for coordinating such a great event! A special thank you to all of YOU who decorated trunks, volunteered, donated candy, gift cards, baked treats, and contributed to make this event so memorable. Your generosity helped to create moments filled with laughter, treats, and a true sense of community!
With the holiday season upon us, I am truly looking forward to sharing these special moments with our POP family. Kicking off on November 12th, we are excited to welcome all grandparents for our Grandparents’ Week. This week has become a beautiful POP tradition, filled with joy and sweet moments of connection. Then, as we prepare for Thanksgiving, our classes will be focusing on gratitude, kindness, and the joy of giving.
I’m also excited to share about my Sunday mornings at POP! In my role in Children’s Ministry, I’ve had the joy of connecting with many of our families each week, and now we’re preparing for a special Children’s Sunday service on December 1st at 9:30am. I am thrilled to invite all preschool families to join us for this child-led worship service. Our preschool children will join our Sunday School kids to sing "Away in a Manger," and afterward, we’ll have a festive time together making family Advent wreaths, enjoying Christmas treats, music, and fellowship. It will be a beautiful way to begin the Advent season, and I hope to see many of you there!
Thank you for being a special part of our Prince of Peace family. We feel incredibly grateful to support your child’s growth and to share these treasured early years with you. May you and your loved ones have a Thanksgiving filled with love, warmth, and joy!
With gratitude,
Nicole Hilden
