Iowa ACTE knows that time and education are in a period of rapid transformation. To better support our members and address the evolving needs of our field, we are dedicating significant time this year to developing a new IACTE Strategic Plan. With guidance from C&S Strategies, we aim to create a roadmap that reflects our commitment to quality career and technical education, addresses current challenges, and positions us for future success.
Our new strategic plan will focus on enhancing member support, expanding resources, advocating effectively, and strengthening professional development opportunities. By investing in this process, we hope to build a stronger Iowa ACTE that meets your needs and empowers educators statewide.
Thank you for being a part of this journey as we work together to shape the future of career and technical education in Iowa!

Student Volunteers Shine at IACTE Booths! | |
|
We’re thrilled to have student volunteers and their teacher, Kyle Kyhlers, from the Waterloo Career Center assisting the IACTE team at our booth for the ISCA Conference on Nov. 4! This dedicated group of students has supported us for the past two years, and their enthusiasm and professionalism make a real difference in representing Iowa’s CTE programs.
Their help doesn’t stop there— outstanding students from the Waterloo Career Center will also be joining us again on Nov. 21 at the IASB Conference. We’re so grateful for their commitment and contribution, as they embody the values of career and technical education through hands-on service and leadership. Be sure to stop by the booth, say hello, and see our fantastic students in action!
