Looking for present ideas?
Whether you’re shopping for the dog-lover in your life, or if Santa is delivering to your pup directly, we are the one-stop shop for doggy presents! Here are a couple of our suggestions to help you get started!
|
Puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, and other enrichment toys can help keep your dog’s brain engaged while they chow down! Put your dog’s nose to work, test their problem solving, and keep them entertained! (Psst – for anyone who is dealing with puppy energy, did you know that mental exercise helps to tire your puppy out?)
|
Whether your dog is on the naughty list or the nice list this year, we’re sure that they’ll love these holiday treats, now available in all five of our locations.
|
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year | In Arizona, this is prime time to take your dog out on adventures! Gear up for your next outing with a new harness, leash, collar – or even a stroller for those puppies that would prefer to ride in luxury!
|
If you have someone in your life that is both a football and a dog fanatic, we’ve got great news for you! Their dog can rep their favorite NFL team with official team petwear!
|
All of the Love - None of the Fur | We love our dogs, that much is true! Dog hair sticking to your clothes, floor, and furniture? … perhaps not so much. Check out our suite of Lilly pet hair removal products!
We are very excited to offer exclusive gift baskets at our Paradise Valley Festival location. These baskets come jam-packed with puppy supplies and are beautifully wrapped and ready to go. Grab one before they run out!
|
The Gift That Keeps On Giving | Whether you are a new puppy owner yourself or someone you know is getting a puppy from one of our stores, the gift of training is one of the most valuable presents you can ever give. Training helps puppies bond with their family, builds their confidence, and sets up puppy and owner for a long, happy life together. Puppies from any of our stores that are 6 months or younger can be enrolled in our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Classes at our Paradise Valley Festival Location. Call (602) 966-7599 or reply to this email for additional information!

We are proud to work with breeders that are committed to animal welfare, and twice per year we even visit a number of these breeders! Meet one of the breeders from our latest trip - Kelley Luttrell!
Some words from Kelley:
"In addition to owning and operating my breeding facility, I have owned and operated my own grooming business and boarding facility. My breeding dogs and the puppies I raise are my heart and soul. It’s very rewarding to raise happy, healthy and very well socialized fur babies to bring many years of love and joy to other peoples’ lives.”
| |
We assume a lifetime responsibility for every puppy we send home. Our Homes for Life program is the result of this commitment and our dedication to preventing pet homelessness.
We understand that for unfortunate and unforeseen reasons sometimes customers who purchase our puppies can no longer care for them. For this reason, our customers agree to relinquish the dog to us, not a shelter.
We do this to ensure that we can find them a new, loving home but first provide them with the rehabilitation and care that they may need in addition to a neuter/spay as part of our commitment to responsible pet ownership.

Adopt Maizey!
Female French Bulldog
Birth Date: 12/18/28 (~11 months old)
Maizey is a sweet and spirited little girl! She would do best in a single-dog household, and she is still quite a puppy so would blossom with a bit of training to build her confidence! This pretty girl loves walks, and promises to love her family just as much!
Breeder Name: Jennifer Hutson
USDA#: 73-A-2795

Adopt Bella!
Female Mini Schnauzer
Birth Date: 10/18/21 (3 years)
Bella is quite the charmer! While she can take a little while to warm up, she gets extremely attached to her people – so much so that she can get jealous of other pets! She knows all her basic commands and loves to snuggle. Can she come home with you for Christmas?

If you're new around here, please watch our newest introduction video that illustrates our mission, values, how we care for our puppies and our quality breeders:
To ensure that all of our puppies find homes in a timely manner, we reduce their price as they age.
By no means are we lowering the cost of these puppies because they are in any way less valuable, but it’s our mission to find each of our puppies a permanent, loving home as quickly as possible.

This month’s star of the month is R.A.D. – named in memory of his owner’s late father, whose first, middle, and last initials became the letters of R.A.D.’s name! While she was not looking for a new pet, his family says that “something about R.A.D.” drew our attention. Here is a little bit more from his family:
What was your experience like with Animal Kingdom?
My experience with Animal Kingdom was awesome. They were very attentive to my needs, answering all my questions and giving me adequate time to interact with my puppy.
How does your puppy make your life better?
My puppy has made my life and my family's life better. My puppy has given us so much joy, filling a gap that was left after my father passed.
What is your favorite thing about your puppy?
My favorite thing about R.A.D. is that he is so cuddles so much like a teddy bear and he is easily trainable. He has already learned to sit, give paw, and lay down. Oh and of course has already learned to potty train.
Thank you for sharing R.A.D.'s story with us, Kathleen!

Recently awarded Phoenix Best in the Valley for Pet Sitting, Hand & Hound is a great resource for pet owners needing extra exercise and enrichment for their pets or coverage while traveling!
At Hand & Hound, they strive to get to know pet owners and their pets as if they were their own while also incorporating professional standards, such as Pet First Aid + CPR training.
They know how hard it is to trust whoever is coming into your home and caring for your pets, so every sitter is expected to be fully transparent and communicate all details to pet owners, through a mobile app that has GPS-verified reports.
Like your neighbor, but with more credentials!

If you are looking for a puppy, be careful & remain vigilant!
Here is how to spot a puppy scam online from AKC:
-
No phone calls. The seller prefers to handle communication by email and not the phone. A reputable breeder will always communicate with you via phone or video chat (if not in person) before selling you a puppy. Fraudulent sellers are oftentimes outside of the U.S. and may be hiding their phone number by only communicating by email.
-
Copycat or stock photos. Photos of the dog or ad text can be found on multiple websites. Search for the text or reverse image search the photos on Google to find out if they were copied.
-
Sketchy payment. The seller asks for wiring of money or payment by gift cards. Be aware that if you choose a non-secure method of payment, it is highly unlikely that you will get your money back. Avoid paying a stranger using apps such as Venmo, as it is harder to get your money back if you don’t get what you paid for.
-
Price is too good to be true. Research the prices for the breed you are considering. Purebred dogs sold at deeply discounted prices are typically frauds. If the seller says they register their dogs with a specific organization, you can call the organization to confirm.
