We are so excited to kickoff our Virtual Holiday Market, which will run from November 9-15 on Facebook!

Please go ahead and join the OFFICIAL shopping page where the virtual market will occur - Hillside Holiday Market 2020 Shopping Group, at this link.

Once you are in the Hillside Holiday Market 2020 Shopping Group, you can be in the know as our vendors start their introduction posts next week, prior to the start of the sale - and there might be some giveaways that you don't want to miss!

When the Virtual Holiday Market goes LIVE from November 9-15, we will have 30 vendors offering a huge variety of items for sale! Please help us to get the word out about the Virtual Holiday Market and share the Shopping Group page, so we can support these small businesses who are helping us further our mission as the Women of Hillside.

This year will be the 14th annual Shop for Mom outreach program for the moms and children at the Cherokee Family Violence Center!

From November 8-29, the Women of Hillside will collect practically new items that any mom would love to receive as a gift. Please drop-off donated items in the lobby outside Celebration Hall during the Sunday in-person worship services, starting November 8. If you are not yet attending in-person worship services at Hillside but would still like to donate items to Shop for Mom, please send us an email at - we have volunteers who will come pick-up the donated items from you!

Examples of the items that we are collecting for gifts for the moms include: gloves, hats, scarves, jewelry, purses, lotions, candles, books, small home goods, and kitchen items. This ministry also needs contributions of baskets, wrapping paper, bows, ribbons, and tags.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be an in-person event at the Cherokee Family Violence Center as we have done in years past. Volunteers will make gift baskets and wrap gifts, and on December 10, those items will be delivered to the Cherokee Family Violence Center. Their staff will deliver the gifts for the moms, as well as snacks and a craft for the children, by going door to door.

If you would like to volunteer to help wrap the gifts and make gift baskets, please email

The Women of Hillside will continue collecting gently used shoes for the shoe drive through Shoes with Heart to help Ollie, a 5-year old boy with autism, get a service dog. His family has already reached their initial goal for shoes collected and are going for an all-time record for shoes collected for this fundraiser through Shoes with Heart.

If you would like to donate shoes, please email us!

To follow Ollie and his family on their journey to get a service dog, please check out his family's Facebook page - A Dog for Ollie.
