Ichigo-Con celebrates anything geeky, nerdy, trivial or arcane: Comics, Sci-Fi, Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who, anime, pop culture and more.


Costume fans, this is your chance to shine! Come dressed as your favorite character from books, movies, TV or comics and enter our costume contest for a chance to take home the 2022 Ichigo-Con trophy. Costumes must be appropriate for a family setting.

If you’ve returned a book late at Pasadena Public Library before, and haven't yet paid your fine, all is forgiven, we have closed the books on overdue fines! As of October 1, 2022 all pre-existing fines, except for lost items, have been removed from your account! Moving forward, you will still be responsible for lost & damaged items.

Sam B. Liu & Asian Americans in the U.S. Military


Sam B. Liu came to the United States from China as a child, attended medical school to become a surgeon and joined the Army in World War II. Learn about Dr. Liu's experiences during the war in North Africa, Italy and the Philippines as well as the stories of other Asian Americans who served.


Included in the presentation are his original uniform, photos, and documents from his experience in World War II. Presented by San Jacinto College history professors Luis Reyes and Paul McRee.
