Hello TTP community! As you may have heard, I recently accepted the position of Medical Director for TTP and wanted to take a brief moment to introduce myself and my family. I moved to Columbia way back in middle school but left for college and ended up spending 7 years in Boston/Cambridge and another 4 years in Chicago. Despite my deep love of baseball in both Boston and Chicago, eleven years of very cold winters was enough for me and in 2011 I returned to Columbia for my residency in pediatrics. I live in NE Columbia with my husband, our kids, and our tuxedo cat Lola. My older daughter, Ana Sofia, has been a TTP patient for a little over a year and just started in the Bridges preschool this summer.
As a general pediatrician with a special interest in children with complex medical and developmental needs I am thrilled to be a part of the TTP team and to support their mission to make #miraclesinmotion. I look forward to meeting more of you in the future (COVID precautions permitting!) and to helping the TTP staff provide excellent care to your children.
