What an amazing turnout of members continued for this month’s Breakfast Club networking! The growth in attendance is symbolic of the desire for members' businesses to meet and speak with other members of our local business community. The expansion and growth in the popularity of this unique monthly networking event is noteworthy, as well as exciting for what it portends for the future. There remains the constant mix of new and regular attendees which keeps the meeting fresh and reinvigorated each month. The growth of each individual's professional network and the willingness to exchange ideas is the core of this event. Remember it’s hard to expand your own individual horizons of networking opportunities if you are not in attendance. So, what’s holding YOU back? Let’s keep it going! Give yourself an early Christmas gift - see you next month on Thursday, December 1, at 8:00 am at Brother’s!
We promoted and hosted a wide number of very successful Chamber events this past month.
Beginning with the return of our Wakefield 101 for new residents on Thursday evening October 20 in the CIVIC Center. This is a tremendous opportunity for you to introduce your business to new Wakefield residents and let them know what you’re all about. Watch for the next “101” event in the spring of 2023.
In partnership with
Wakefield PD, we presented a very timely and informative educational session “Active Shooter in the Work Place”. It is unfortunate sign of the times that we need to concern ourselves with such topics but better that we be prepared if ever such training and knowledge is needed. Our profound thanks to the Wakefield PD for their assistance in providing these types of resources to our Chamber members.
We promoted and hosted our inaugural Women in Business (WIB) event on Wednesday October 26 at
Floramo’s (formerly the Dockside). It was an excellent turnout and our group is very excited with the possibilities of continuing this event and expanding on the educational and networking opportunities it provides. It is our plan to meet every other month and the next meeting is already lined up and scheduled on Wednesday December 21, 2022 at Floramo's. If interested please find the entire 2023 Women in Business (WIB) meeting schedule on the Chamber website and click
here to register for December's WIB luncheon!
On Thursday October 27, we hosted a terrific ribbon cutting and welcomed

Also on the 27

McGuire and Co. Kitchen and Bath on North Ave. This was another very well attended event and celebration. We are pleased to have been invited to participate and want to wish Rob and the team at McGuire and Co. Kitchen and Bath continued success for many years to come!
