Looking to lend a helping hand?

An occasional need arises from time to time to lend a helping hand to a parishoner or someone in need of a meal, whether it be a new baby or a hospitalization. I would like to have a few items in our freezer to be able to deliver on short notice in addition to people I can call on to help. Please email or call me if you are interested in this ministry. Penny Taylor 302-766-4182 [email protected]

Toys for Tots

Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive

Would you be interested in devoting an hour to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive. Prior to the Pandemic, parishioners of St. Barnabas for one day manned in pairs a SA Red Kettle collecting donations for their local programs, basically ringing bells and wishing folks a Merry Christmas. This is an attempt to see if we have sufficient interest in re-starting our participation. If interested, please contact Hal Bruner at (302)373-8760 or [email protected]

St. Barnabas' next concert is Sunday, November 27th at 3 p.m. with The University of Delaware's Premiere All-Male Acapella group, Admission is Free.

Mark your calendars! The newly formed St. Cecilia Singers children's choir will sing for the 10:30 a.m service on Sunday, November 20th, which will be Christ the King Sunday
