Jolinda Lampo
An artist with a big, giving heart sparked creativity in such a unique way. When she rescued her retriever, Lily, fourteen years ago, she felt the call to contribute more to the organization. Lampo now designs, builds, and paints custom birdhouses made from recycled and repurposed materials with all proceeds going towards Retrievers & Friends of Southern California. So, when you buy one of her birdhouses, you are supporting a worthy cause! Next time you stop by The Abode, wander out back and peek at her work. You can follow her on Instagram @birdhouses4thedogs.

Simply insert the needle of the opener into the cork and push the button to uncork your bottle of wine! These delicious, hand-crafted cookies will have you devouring the entire bag in one sitting! Cici’s Handmade Italian Cookies started out with one family recipe and has grown into a business with a variety of flavors. We currently have the Italian Ginger Molasses, as well as the Italian Lemon flavored cookies.

Dock 6 Pottery

Food Drive 11/1 - 11/20
Donate to our food drive this year at The Abode. Give back this holiday season by providing nourishing meals of all kinds. We will be collecting items through November 20th and donating them to local food banks, right in time for Thanksgiving. Help us support our community and feed local families in need!

A Grateful Heart
Conversations around the dinner table organically spark storytelling and curiosity while adding to a traditional communal atmosphere of a family dinner. Stories from past memories come to light and we might share some laughter as we bond over a delicious meal. The beautiful part about all of this is that new memories start to form as we share about the old. Gratitude is felt between the laughs and full bellies, and we recognize that we must hold onto these moments, for tomorrow will come and present a new day. The moment doesn’t last forever, but in our memories they remain a lifetime. At The Abode, we appreciate you, our friends and family, for the inspiration and support to memorialize our legacy in our community and home.
