Dear residents,

Welcome to the month of November. This is a time of transition, as we move closer towards the end of the year. It's a month of reflection, gratitude, and unity.

In November, we pause to celebrate Thanksgiving, a time when we come together with family and friends to express our gratitude for the blessings in our lives. It's a reminder that, regardless of our differences, we share a common thread of appreciation and blessings that surround us.

November is also a time to remember and honor our veterans on Veterans Day. We pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country and preserved our freedoms. We thank you.

And last but not least, let us not forget the spirit of community that binds us. Take this month as an opportunity to support one another, lend a helping hand to those in need, and work together for the betterment of our city.

Wishing you all a wonderful November.

Sincerely,

Mayor Jose "Pepe" Diaz

Happy Anniversary to us!

Did you know on October 10, 1941, the City of Sweetwater was formally incorporated. Today, we commemorate the 82nd anniversary of our cherished city. We reflect on its modest origins, from the arrival its earliest settlers known as the "Royal Russian Midgets". They were part of a group of Russian circus performers who settled here in what was once a remote area called Sweetwater Estates.
