November 5, Learn How to Homebrew Day:

In 1999, Learn How to Homebrew Day was established as the first Saturday in November by the American Homebrewers Association to promote the most rewarding and delicious activity of all time—homebrewing (we might be biased).

Every year, thousands of people celebrate, learn, and welcome newcomers to the hobby of homebrewing. Beer, wine, cider, and fermenter lovers worldwide are invited to brew, share their knowledge, and celebrate the hobby of homebrewing annually. Here is a great recipe to make in celebration of homebrewers and the changing weather.

New Yeast Release!

Sourvisiae® is a bioengineered ale yeast strain (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) capable of producing lactic acid during fermentation to provide brewers with an easy, reproducible, and mono-culture product for sour-style beer production.

Gluten Free Liquid Yeast?!

Would you purchase liquid yeast this fall? (estimated $14.95 per pouch including ice pack)
Yes - 100% absolutely without question you can count on me!
No - sounds like fun but I probably won't get any...just being honest

And just for fun...

I don't have enough time to read fun stuff these days, but my mind still wanders from the day-to-day business stuff. This article caught my eye in my news feed (apparently I search for a lot of beer related stuff) and I thought it was interesting. Not that any of us would have the problem with tall cylinder fermentation tanks...but we can dream!

Cheers! ~ Brian - Founder / Co-Owner
