Enrollment Deadline Nears for Class of 2028

This year’s Promise sign-ups are off to an incredible start. So far, 154 Panola County sophomores and 304 Shelby County sophomores have taken the pledge to secure their ticket to free college through the Panola College Promise Program. That’s 458 students already taking the first step toward their college future, and we’re not done yet. If you know a sophomore who hasn’t signed up, encourage them to join in. The deadline to enroll is November 30th. It only takes a few minutes to complete the pledge form, and doing so ensures they don’t miss out on the opportunity for tuition-free college right here at Panola College.

Celebrate Students Across Panola and Shelby Counties

October was a month of excitement as sophomores across Panola and Shelby Counties took the Promise Pledge to secure their ticket to tuition-free college through the Panola College Promise Program.

The Promise team visited schools throughout both counties, celebrating with banners, t-shirts, cupcakes, and photo backdrops while students learned about the program and its benefits. Teachers and counselors joined in to help students take this important first step toward college.

Hundreds of sophomores have now made their commitment to the program, marking the start of their journey toward higher education. The Promise team thanks all schools for their support in making these events a success and for helping local students build a brighter future.
