Looking for a new read? Check out our Paperback Book Exchange available year-round! Whether you bring a paperback book in  exchange for a new one, or you take a paperback book for free, check out the selection we have to offer.

The paperbacks for exchange are located on spinning displays on the landing between the ground floor and first floor of the library. This level is accessible by  selecting "GS" on our elevator, or by stairs from the ground floor. Please feel free to ask a member of our staff for guidance towards the display if needed!

We suggest visiting the websites of the museum or attraction you are interested in visiting before borrowing a pass for the most recent updates of the museum or attraction's hours, holidays, and closings.

General Rules and Regulations:
  • Middleton residents, and residents of other towns who are current members of the Friends of the Flint, may reserve museum passes in advance by calling 978-774-8132 or in person at the library. Please call to cancel your reservation if your plans change.
  • Passes may be picked up the day of or the day before use.
  • Be sure to bring your library card or photo ID when picking up passes.
  • Some passes must be returned to the Main Desk the day following use. Patrons will be notified which passes must be returned upon pickup.
  • The borrower assumes complete responsibility for the return of the museum passes.
  • There is a $5.00 fine if the pass is not returned within 24 hours of the due date.
  • A replacement fee will be levied if the pass is lost.
